History for G&T

Masterclasses for gifted and talented pupils have been run successfully for several years. All of these focus on using different types of historical sources and developing skills in using them.

The Year 11 masterclass involves the use of different types of visual sources and shows students the pitfalls in using them. They are also shown how to analyse political cartoons.

 Year 8 students have been able to work with sources associated with the Plague at Eyam.

 In June 2010, the Holocaust will be offered to Year 9 students. Places are limited to 20 per session on each of the 2 days allocated for the different masterclasses. Contact us for full details.
